San
Diego Coastal Habitat Coalition . . . working to preserve our natural future |
Who are we?
We are citizens concerned
with protecting the valuable coastal resources. Our key project is to promote
the establishment of a marine sanctuary at Casa Beach in La Jolla so that the
harbor seal rookery as well as other wildlife in the area will be protected for
the enjoyment of future generations.
How can I help?
Our success depends on volunteers and financial contributions from people like you. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ellen Shively at ellenshively@sbcglobal.net. Financial contributions can be sent to the address under "Contact Us" below.
Volunteers for the Seal Watch program at Casa Beach are always needed. Volunteers in this program inform visitors on responsible seal-watching and educate visitors about seal biology. Seal Watch is administered by the Animal Protection & Rescue League (http://www.aprl.org). For more information or to volunteer for this program, please contact Dorota at dorota@aprl.org
Funding needed for legal advocacy:
Funding for continuing legal advocacy is needed to protect the seal habitat in the courts. Please send donations to: Animal Protection & Rescue League, 302 Washington St., #404, San Diego, CA 92103, or online at www.aprl.org/contribute.php
